Bluewaters Dubai is transforming into a futuristic winter wonderland this December
Dubai, UAE, December 2024: Bluewaters Dubai is set to welcome visitors for a festive celebration experience unlike any other. From 10 December to 11 January, the destination will transform into an innovative and immersive wonderland with dazzling displays, engaging entertainment and endless photo-worthy moments.
Here’s what’s in store:
The Wild Wild Blue – A Festive Journey into the Future
Laser trees: At the heart of the island’s key pedestrian promenade, dazzling laser trees will emit vibrant beams of electric blue, purple, pink, and white. Their branches, made of projected lights, will shift to different colours and intensities, creating magical reflections and refractions that complement the surrounding interactive projections.
Three-dimensional geometric structures: Spectacular vibrant neon lights inviting visitors to step inside and capture theatrical photo opportunities.
Massive laser wall: Experience breathtaking visuals as vivid blue beams interact with soft smoke elements, creating mesmerising movements and dynamic displays across an 11-metre-long and 3.5-metre-high laser wall.
Drone Shows that Light up the Sky
Don’t miss the nightly state-of-the-art drone shows, featuring 1,000 high-tech drones performing synchronised aerial choreography. These captivating displays, also visible from JBR The Walk, blend cutting-edge audio-visual storytelling with stunning animations:
The first show will celebrate 30 years of the Dubai Shopping Festival, bringing to light the dynamic experiences, shopping, entertainment and events that make it one of the city’s leading retail events.
Following this, a spectacular show will pay homage to Dubai itself, weaving together its rich heritage, diverse culture, and awe-inspiring journey of ambition and achievement.

Bonus: The opening night of daily drone shows at Bluewaters includes exciting skydiving stunts to kick off the festivities in style.
Festive Parade
While the drone shows light up the skies, a vibrant parade of performers in global blues, pinks, whites and purples will trapeze through Bluewaters. Watch them roller-skate, dance and mingle their way through the island with lively music to wow visitors.
